Student Ministry at Asbury Church includes grades 7-12.
WEEKLY EVENTS
Sunday School (9:30 am) - Classes are divided as follows: junior high (grades 7 & 8), mid high (grades 9 & 10), and senior high (grades 11 & 12). Studying what matters most to teens and preteens, we discuss issues such as friends, family, bullying, anger, media, etc. and then look to see what scripture says about these things. We also use the Orange curriculum (www.whatisorange.com).My Calcutta: Sunday Night Youth Group (5-6:30 pm) - On Sunday evenings, we talk about what it means to be a willing servant, and we also focus on discovering ways to serve others in our own community. Most evenings, we meet at the church for a time to hang out with friends, play games, and delve into the Word to learn more about serving others and to learn more about the God we serve. At least once a month, we go out into the community and put our words into action by serving at area ministries. Check the calendar page to see where we are serving next.Connection: Wednesday Evenings (6:15-7:15 pm) - During our Bible study time, we dig deep into God's word to learn the story of our faith, to get to know God, and to learn to listen for what God has to say to us concerning the direction of our own lives. We also study one book of the Bible at a time.
